Trade Shield was started inside another startup, Inoxico, where its rapid growth and international ambitions allowed it to be spun off into its own focused company in early 2023. By focusing on developing business risk solutions in Africa since 2009, Inoxico has successfully developed multiple valuable products in the areas of supplier risk, customer risk, and third-party risk management.
Today, Trade Shield has about 50 employees across three countries, with the majority based in South Africa. Our staff are a mixture of trade credit experts, data scientists, software developers, customer success maniacs and sales executives.
